1. Introduction and Scope

This Data Deletion Policy (the "Policy") sets forth the procedures and rules regarding the deletion of personal data collected, processed, and stored by **Compass Military**. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and clients in compliance with applicable data protection laws, such as the GDPR, CCPA, and others.

This Policy applies to all data subjects whose personal data is processed by **Compass Military**.

2. Data Subject Rights (Right to Erasure)

The data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was originally collected or processed.

The personal data has been unlawfully processed.
The personal data has to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation.

3. Deletion Request Procedure

Your request must include:

Your full name and contact information.
A clear description of the data you wish to have deleted (e.g., account data, specific communications).
Any information necessary to verify your identity (this may be requested after initial contact for security purposes).

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 7 business days and aim to complete the deletion process within 30 days, or as required by applicable law.

4. Exceptions to Deletion

The Right to Erasure is not absolute. **Compass Military** may refuse a deletion request if the processing of the data is necessary for:

Exercising the right of freedom of expression and information.
Compliance with a legal obligation that requires processing by law.
The establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes, or statistical purposes, where erasure is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of that processing.

If we deny your request, we will inform you of the reasons for the refusal.

5. Consequences of Deletion

Please note that deleting your data may result in the termination of your account, the loss of access to our services, or the inability to use certain features. Once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this App. These Terms are in addition to the terms and policies of the Meta Platform (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Oculus) through which you access our App, including the **Meta Platform Terms** and **Developer Policies**, which govern your use of the Meta products.

You must be at least **[Minimum Age, e.g., 13]** years old to use this App, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if you are between **[e.g., 13]** and **[e.g., 18]** years old.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the App per device for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license, you may not:

modify or copy the materials;
use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial) without express written permission;
attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained in the App;
remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by **Compass Military** at any time.

3. User Content and License Grant to Us

3.1. Your Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in the content you create and share using our App ("User Content").

3.2. License to Compass Military

By posting, uploading, or sharing User Content on or through the App, you grant **Compass Military** a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your User Content, solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the App and our related services, and consistent with your privacy settings.

3.3. Meta Platform Compliance

You acknowledge that your User Content and your use of the App must also comply with the **Meta Platform Terms** and **Developer Policies** regarding intellectual property, content standards, and prohibited behavior.

4. Restrictions and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the App in any way that violates any applicable laws or the terms and policies of the Meta Platform, including but not limited to:

Violating the intellectual property rights of others.
Uploading or transmitting any content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or hateful.
Using the App to send unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or spam.
Impersonating any person or entity or providing false information.
Accessing or collecting data from the Meta Platform using automated means (without Meta's prior permission) or attempting to access data you do not have permission to access.

5. Privacy and Data Handling

Your use of the App is also governed by our **Privacy Policy**, which is incorporated into these Terms by this reference. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information, including data received from the Meta Platform. By using the App, you consent to such processing.

**IMPORTANT NOTE:** You must comply with all Meta policies, including the requirement to maintain a publicly available and readily accessible Privacy Policy that clearly and accurately informs users about what data you collect and how you use, store, and share that data, particularly any data obtained from the Meta Platform.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS." **Compass Military** MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND NEGATES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OR OTHER VIOLATION OF RIGHTS.

IN NO EVENT SHALL **Compass Military** OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFIT, OR DUE TO BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE MATERIALS ON **Compass Military's** APP.

7. Termination and Suspension

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms, including any violation of the Meta Platform Terms or Developer Policies.

You acknowledge that Meta may also take enforcement action against you or the App, including suspending or permanently removing the App and your access, if Meta believes, in its sole discretion, that you or your App has violated or may have violated their terms or policies.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of **[Your State/Country]** and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
